- User Accounts
The App does not provide a user account system.
Users are not required to:
- create an account
- register personal information
- log in to use the App
The App does not create or maintain user profiles.
- Location Data
When you use the App’s monitoring or map features, the App may access the device’s GPS location data.
Location data is used only for the following purposes:
- displaying device location on the monitoring map
- supporting geofencing functions
- enabling safety monitoring features
To support monitoring functionality, the App may access location data even when the App is not running in the foreground.
Users may disable location access at any time through the device system settings.
If location permission is disabled, some features of the App may not function properly.
- Storage of Location Data
Location data processed by the App has the following characteristics:
- Location data is stored only on the user’s mobile device
- The App does not upload location data to the developer’s server
- The App does not transmit location data to cloud services
The developer’s server only receives data transmitted by monitoring gateway devices, not from mobile phones or other Poseidon devices.
Therefore:
- The developer does not collect or store mobile phone location data
- The developer cannot access or view the user’s device location
- Data Retention
Since location data is stored only on the user’s device, the retention period is controlled by the user.
Users can remove data by:
- deleting data inside the App
- clearing the App’s stored data
- uninstalling the App
The developer’s server does not retain location data from user devices.
- Data Deletion
Because the App does not collect or store user data on developer servers, users do not need to request deletion from the developer.
Users may delete data by:
- deleting data within the App
- clearing the App’s storage data
- uninstalling the App
After these actions, the stored data will be removed from the device.
- Firebase Services
The App uses Firebase services (such as Firebase Remote Config) to provide:
- interface text content
- PDF documentation references
- informational content updates
Firebase is used only to deliver content to the App.
The App does not upload user data, location data, or personal information to Firebase.
- Device Information
To ensure proper operation, the App may access limited device information such as:
- device model
- operating system version
- application version
This information is used only for compatibility and functionality purposes.
The App does not upload this information to developer servers.
- Data Sharing
The App does not sell, rent, or exchange personal data.
Because the App does not upload mobile device data to servers:
- the developer does not share user location data
- the developer does not provide mobile device data to third parties
Information will only be disclosed if required by applicable law or government authority.
- Data Security
Data generated by the App is stored locally on the user’s mobile device.
Users can manage data security through:
- device security settings
- application permissions
- operating system protections
- Children
The App is not specifically designed for children.
If minors use the App, parental or guardian supervision is recommended.
- Updates to this Privacy Policy
The developer may update this Privacy Policy due to:
- regulatory requirements
- service updates
- feature changes
Updated versions will be published on the official website or within the App.
- Permissions
When the App requires device permissions (such as location access), the App will request permission through the Android system dialog.
Users can change permissions at any time through device settings.
